If you ask any of my friends to describe me in a single word, that word would unanimously be “CREATIVE”.

I have been designing patterns for as long as I can remember.

My first creative job was designing anti counterfeit patterns for currency – seeing those babies roll off a printing press the size of a bus and onto hard cash was quite an experience!

Life is full of twists and turns and I ended up leaving the UK for the States where I set up my own web and graphic design company , Indigo Image . I also started a popular art and crafts blog Creative in Chicago and have been creating and writing for that for nearly 10 years – yikes!

I move around a lot but am currently based in Chicago. If truth be told am itching to leave this flat boring state and go and live in the mountains of Pennsylvania.

My surface design work is generally inspired by nature and I am as happy with a sable hair watercolor brush or a trusty ipencil, as my tools of choice.

Most of my designs form part of a collection, there is something very satisfying about creating coordinating patterns.
