This week’s Spoonflower challenge is a partnership with pottery studio East Fork to celebrate the launch of two new glazes, Piglet, which is a soft pink nd butter, and equally soft yellow.
I came up with a folk art bird.

To be honest this color palette really didn’t talk to me but it didn’t stop me having a dam good play around with it and a whole collection of designs just evolved!
The spoonflower challenge this week is to design a wallpaper for an Italian villa. I went for the “bring the outside in” route and created a Tuscan Countryside design

I went with a very painterly style for this challenge and basically created my dream flowerbed
Passementerie, that is a new word for me this week and the prompt for the Spoonflower design challenge. It is a type of decorative trim used in textiles.
I designed and intricate beaded loopy pattern in my favorite blues.
