Delicious Ditsy… now there is a fun design prompt for a challenge! I messed around with a recent Christmas charcuterie design I had created and turned it into something more ditsy, for this week’s challenge
Occasionally a Spoonflower design challenge prompt has me stumped on what to create but that was definitely not the case with this week’s “Art Deco” The funny thing is, is that I am not that keen on art deco design but the ideas just kept rolling out of my head and it was difficult to pick which one to enter.
This is what I went with
Art Deco Teal
Are here are some other ideas I came up with. All are now for sale in my Spoonflower shop
The only tattoos I really like, are those beautiful abstract line art ones! So that was the inspiration behind my design for the tattoo flash sheet design challenge this week
I also mucked about with another version but decided to go with the pink one. Both designs are now for sale in my Spoonflower shop in various scales
What ever happened to a a basket in the corner for your pet dog? These days some pooches have better dwellings that their human friends! This week’s Spoonflower challenge is barkitecture or pet first architecture!
It was a fun one to design!
I also created a couple of coordinated prints
It is always fun learning about new traditions and the Spoonflower design challenge prompt this week, is Fika – a tradition I was completely unaware of. It is a Swedish coffee break where friends share a mug of something hot and indulge in a sweet treat. What is not to love about that!
I created two versions of Fika Friends and entered the dark version
I went crazy with color for the Spoonflower challeng ethis week- Out of this world Botanical. Weirdness prevails in this one, with bizarre flowers and leaves.
I do like designing florals and for this week’s challenge I reworked a previous challenge winning design into a more Victorian era floral
I have a bird feeder in my garden and get such pleasure watching the birds come and go. The Birding Spoonflower challenge is one that definitely spoke to me! I went for the water bird route… there is something quite magic about discovering a pond with ducks and their babies in it.
Ooooh when I think of Granny square and big basket of scrap yarn in a rainbow of colors come to mind and some clever granny jiggling away with a crochet hook and making something fabulous.
Granny’s Got Colorful Yarn
My Halloween designs are some of my best sellers on my Spoonflower shop… all year round too! This week I got to add another to my collection, the design challenge is Eclectic witch and I went for a Witches Kitchen …a bubbling caldron with shelves full of witchy ingredients for an amazing spell
and me being me I also created a couple of other colorways!
