For the elevated classic spoonflower challenge I decided to to a good hard look at houndstooth. To the layman it can look like quite a complicated pattern but when you break it down it is super simple. The repeat is a simple square of diagonal bands but when you add and remove color the results are spectacular.
Now I mucked arounds with that simple repeat block a little and came up with this. I gave a classic hounds tooth a modern preppy feel.
